   I wasn’t that crazy about this song when it first came out, but listening to it now, I think it is a really good song. The video is very displaced though.

   See the only reason I watch Hall & Oates videos is for Maximum Oates, and this video is Maximum Oates.

   I can almost hear the converstion between Oates and the director. Oates-”Couldn’t we just do this in a high school with some good looking tenagers?” Director – “No we’re going for something that has nothing to do with the song, dumbass” Oates – “OK, just don’t make me look like an idiot” Director – “Sure Oatey”

    This is a great song no doubt but an awfully embarrassing video. It is epic bad. Oates makes a fool of himself big time. How does he live with himself? Hall and Oates definitely look like a couple of sweethearts in this one, and not the flattering kind.

    I’d have to say is about teens (16-18) pursuing their first lay. I was 18, for no other reason than that’s when I scored. Also about things seeming so permanent and such a big deal at the time. But they ain’t…
    As for the imagery in the vid, no idea.
