Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone new how the American education system works (like grades collage etc) and the ages at each stage (for example the age you start college).
Also what happens in America when you leave school and go into higher education (where do you go?), and what age does this happen?
Many thanks,
Ciara :]

College is right after. Your first 4 years of college you get your bachelors degree. If you continue more year (it depends what your majoring in) you can get your masters then PHD docterate degree. College starts from your late teens (18-19) to your twenties. You can choose to live on campus, which only goes for college. Once your in college, you can legally live on your own, if you choose to.
Grades work the same for all school years. It shows how well you did and or what you got correct. From highest to lowest:
A+,A,A-,B+,B,B-,C+,C,C-,D+,D,D-,F. F is for failed, which means you did not pass the assignment. A’s are very good to get.
Hope this helps with whatever you are looking for!
