What we need is an really independent NGO (Non Government Organizations), not Government controlled ones like Case, that speaks out for rights of Children to normal childhood, exploitation of their minds to Government's social engineering, compulsory fund raising by school principals, demeaning corporal punishments, no homework holidays, let kids be kids day not Children day where they are again subject to speeches, total ban on religious conversion under any guises, and many more

It's very competitive. So, some parents torture their children to study, study and study. cannot play at all. it makes the minds of the students crazy, feeling like commiting suicide. It makes them hard to socialise with other friends and often keep everything to themselves.

But, on the other hand, if some parents don not really care about their children because they have no time or jus because they think that even though it's competitive, their children can still survive in singapore. For example, if secondary school in Normal academic or Normal Technical, they will go to ITE and continue to Poly. even though it wastes some times, but, still their children can still get a diploma and earn money. this makes the students to be overly relax. never study, since nobody cares about their results. usually, they hang around with some bad guys and get bad influence.

Yes. Take yourself for instance. You are in a good university and smart and everything, but look at how you socialize. Look at your moral flaws. Singapore's education system focuses too much on academic results. Students become wayyyyy less creative and the focus on just winning is corrupting the character of the students. (You know what I mean, simon)
