No it isn’t. I live in Australia and we have many English, Scottish and Irish teachers here who acquired their tertiary degrees in the UK.

most primary schools are pretty keen on people having degrees in that field, especially since everyone wants to work with children (or they think they do anyway).
What you need to do is talk to the place you plan to teach next, and ask them how your degree in scotland will work. Mostly likely, you will have to attend a bit of university in whatevery country you go to to take a few classes that weren’t required in Scotland and then get your licensure. You may, no matter how much experience you have, have to do your demonstration teaching again if you go to the US.

I would imagine that all the UK would have the same standards for teaching. It may vary for some other countries but I know that Canadian and English qualifications are recognised in Australia.
Contact areas where you want to teach and ask if your qualifications will suffice. Should have no problems in most places.
