Robert Loggia skilfully plays a bullying “Mr. Eddy” in David Lynch’s Lost Highway. we swallow ones pride for a blank pass support that causes a initial couple of seconds to be wonky as well as grey. i10.photobucket.com

They may have filmed this scene in the San Gabriels, but the guy who was riding Dick Laurant’s ass like a yuppy Michael Schumacher could only come from one place…..South Orange County.

Is Loggia beating up a guy in a similar scenario on The Sopranos an homage to this scene?

Mike: I’d say 6.9 also. I imagine the strong Mercedes internals might be able to handle that power level.

try 6.9 liter v8. They drive one in ronin too.

Looks like a twin turbo large 6 or small/mid size 8 cylinder, probably diesel. These can hit big hp numbers, 1400 is very possible.

Awesome car, but 1400 HP seem a bit exaggerated. ^^

I never understood this film when I first saw it either. But, in the book ‘The Shape of Things to Come,’ author Greil Marcus has an extended essay about it, David Lynch and BIll Pullman. I’m not sure if I understand the film any more after reading it, but it was a damned interesting essay. And it made me want to see Lost Highway again.

Brilliant fucking scene. However, the lecture is a bit unrealistic. My guess would be that life ends, for real.

Love it when Lynch does comedic scenes – most times it’s never been done before and that originality makes it all the more interesting.
