As a teenager in high school myself, i do indeed believe that sexual education should be a mandatory course in health or physical education classes. As someone who does not believe in sex before marriage, i know that others do, and many of my friends are not virgins, and i know some girls in my school are either pregnant, or have had an abortion. If they knew better and were educated more clearly, it could help prevent this. We were not offered sex-ed up until this year and I do know some girls who have stopped being sexual active with their boyfriends because now they know the cold hard facts. So all in all, i do think that sexual education should be in all school across america.

yes it could. this economy could use SexEd. Not that everyone would follow the rules said in the class, one semester of learning how to avoid future problems is a good idea.

yes it should be taught. because then kids learn how easy it is to get a STD and they might back off on sex.

Yes. 46% of all high schoolers aren’t virgins by their own admission. Not teaching them all the facts is robbing them of a thorough education since only 5% of Americans are virgins when they marry, which is what the alternative tries to promote They need information about protection. If you teach comprehensive sex education and stress the importance of condoms, then more students will use condoms and prevent accidental pregnancy. It could hep the condom and birth control makers in America, but wouldn’t have far reaching implications as the economy goes.

Marisamo, your avatar looks very worried. Have you already done something you shouldn’t have? Young people need all the info they can get. Std’s, unwanted pregnancy, aids, not to mention the emotional trauma that can develop form having sex when you are to young are some of the things that definitely should be addressed .

Acualy most skools are alredy making it manditory to were you have to take the class unless their is a religouse reson but its not like they wont find out before hand anyway but it is a good idea to teach them about Sti stds you know th works hope this helped

recent studies show that teens that have not had sex ed are 43% more likely to get pregnant, so I would say that you should have sex ed because it dose not stop teens from having sex by not talking about it in schools the same things will happen but it will be safe!

yes i do believe that sex ed should be mandatory in high schools.If i would have know all the stuff i do now before i started having sex,I would have waited.All teens should know what is out there.some parents may not agree with it ,but it is better to be safe then sorry.
