What do you think of the current education system ? What is the education strategy for your children ?

There are a huge number of obsolete methods in the education system starting from Kindergarten to Higher Education. I think this is the industry which is relatively slow to change. You would know what you have missed when you took your education. How would you ensure that your children do not miss that ? Would you consider alternative education or supplementary education or leave the kids to learn from the exploding media ? If alternative or supplementary education, what kind of and at what stage of their life ?

I think that the public education system is good if you have a slower child. The no child left behind works really hard to pass every child. What if you have an advanced child? A lot of them are not getting pushed to maximum abilities. There are positives and negatives to all. I have chosen to home school my children. I start them at age 2.
