San Francisco. He did some work that was in the De Young museum in Golden Gate Park, so I think he is pretty good at photography. Commercial,Portrait/wedding,landscape etc. If you are very serious about this and can afford it check into Brooks Institute in California. Community college has courses as well as some university's. You can also ask an established photographer if he would be willing to take you on as an intern in which you would work for free for the experience. Also take some business courses. There is more to photography than just taking photos. A lot depends on the type of photography you want to do. Those are the ones who make a living at it. Those of us who are educated only as photographers have a harder time at the business end of it. Experiences would be doing it.
