I want to teach english in South Korea, but I’m not sure what sort of education I’ll need. I figure I’ll need a teaching degree but I don’t know what in or if there’s anything else I need.

In general you’ll need a degree and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate to get a visa and work. The TEFL certificate can be taken either in-house at a local school for 4 weeks or online at your own pace. The degree can be in almost any subject (it’s for the visa) and doesn’t have to be specifically a teaching degree.
